Workshop: Tree surveys using the i-Tree Eco methodology

October 2023

Hands-on workshop with municipal technicians from the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador.

During the session, participants learned how to collect accurate field data using specialized forestry equipment, including measurements of tree height, crown width, diameter at breast height, and other key parameters.

The goal was to strengthen technical capacities within municipalities to support informed decision-making related to urban trees, including their management and maintenance.
